Happy Teachers’ Day to all the Wonderful Educators out there! Thank you for making this world a Smarter & Brighter to Live. Like every other year, this year too, the Students, Staff, and Co-ordinaters of SND has collectively come together and celebrated this auspicious day with Humility & Gratitude. Our Principal, Vice- Principal, staff, and students has actively participated in e event making it a grand success.

Mechanical Engineering Student Association celebrated ‘GURU PURNIMA’ and also introduced MESA members on Friday, 24th July, 2021. Guru Purnima is an Indian festival that is celebrated as per the Hindu Moon Sign calendar to express reverence towards Gurus, teachers and mentors.
Dr. P. M. Patil , Principal, was invited on the occasion. The programme commenced with lighting the lamp to offer prayers to Goddess Saraswati. The faculty members were felicitated by the students. Dr. P. M. Patil, Principal, and Prof. T.V. Gujrathi, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, addressed the students about Guru Purnima. Prof. N.G. Chaudhari, MESA Faculty-Incharge, introduced MESA and its forthcoming events to the students. The students of SE, TE and BE Mechanical engineering attended the event.

On 15th September, 2021, a splendid daylong function was organized at SND College of Engineering & Research Center, Yeola, to celebrate “The Engineers Day”, in the remembrance of Dr. Mokshagundam Visweswaraya, world renowned ever first Indian civil engineer, recipient of several prestigious recognitions, including awards like “Bharat Ratna”. Dr P.M. Patil, Principal of college gave inaugural speech with most updated reviews on achievements and visionary thoughts of Sir Visweswaraya, which have great potential even for ongoing era of engineering. 
On this occasion all MESA students were got involved in several extracurricular activities, including collection and presentation of several unknown findings, achievements, mile stones created by Sir Visweswaraya to establish engineering profession and its deep roots into the society. A systematic set of activities were conceived and organized making several groups of students with common thoughtful tasks, correlating the engineering and its true applications with emerging burning issues of society. The prevailing challenges in regards to water, energy, climate, and socioeconomic aspects were well reviewed by UG and PG students, followed by long debates and thoughts. 
Later after having more than 17 groups, these equal mind young, very nicely transformed their visionary thoughts and ideas into pictorial presentations by presenting many quality posters and rangoli using hands, colours and artistic ingredients thereupon. Students remained busy for whole day after having shared their experience for that entire day, being in in seventeen diverse groups. Each groups had decided their own name, which has sound relevance with their theme. 
Posters were finalized having their correlations with emerging importance of agricultural engineering based interventions for Indian agrarian society. The posters were formally arranged in a gallery at common entrance place of college, where majority of people got the chance to go across this beautiful art gallery.

Every student eagerly awaits right from their time of admission for their most remarkable event of the college “FRESHER’S PARTY”. The 22nd of Jan 2022 was as a memorable day in the life of every fresher of academic year 2021-2022 batch at SNDCOE RC Yeola. The fresher’s day was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness.
It is the day where seniors and juniors finally bond and unite to celebrate being part of the college. Students were welcomed with the so much of enthusiasm which was organized by MESA.
Light is considered as very sacred and a symbol of prosperity, in the same way as sunlight not only dispels the darkness of night, it brings blessings and happiness into our lives. The inauguration of event started by kindling the lamp along with the blessings of goddess Saraswati by our dignitaries Dr. P.M. Patil, Principal and Prof. T.V. Gujrathi HOD, Prof. N.G. Chaudhari , NAAC Coordinator.
